5 Steps to a Happy Work-Life Balance

“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.” ― Dalai Lama XIV

In the past five years 42% of workers have seen a deterioration in their work-life balance. This leads to greater job stress, ill health, and poorer relationships.

In fact, Australia ranks 29th out of 35 OECD countries for work-life balance. However, by implementing certain practices employees can develop a healthier and more meaningful work-life balance.

In this presentation entitled 5 Steps to a Happy Work-Life Balance, Dr Bruce Wells, in his trademark engaging and interactive style, will outline 5 steps that will allow employees to take greater responsibility for a healthier, happier, and more productive lifestyle. The steps include:

  • identifying your priorities
  • being fully engaged at work
  • using a single-task focus
  • cherishing your family, and
  • recharging your batteries.
